1What are the various modes of payment ?

You can pay using following methods of Payment: 1. Credit Card 2. Debit Card 3. Net Banking 4. E-Wallets (Paytm, Gpay, Phonepay etc.) We shall be adding new payment options in the near future.

2Have any convenience fee ?

No, there is no convenience fee collects

3Will I have to pay for any hidden costs like sales tax?

You should not be asked to pay anything extra for the order. Only whatever is mentioned on the invoice can be paid. Please let us know if you have been bothered otherwise.

4Will ask for my personal and bank details to book tickets?

You can book tickets only through keralafilms website and app. We do not process phone/email requests from users. Please note that this app or its employees will never contact you requesting for your bank account number/ card number/ card expiry date/ CVV/ OTP/ net banking password to help you book movie tickets. Do not share these details with anyone over phone or e-mail as this could lead to fraudulent transactions.

5 When I enter my credit card information, the site asks for a CVV code. What is the CVV code?

The CVV code is a 3 or 4 digit code embossed or imprinted on the reverse side of Visa and Master Card credit cards. This is an extra security measure to ensure that you have access or physical possession of the credit card itself in order to use the CVV code.

6 My booking has been rejected, but my credit card has been charged? What do I do?

This is a very rare situation, and can occur in case of a network fluctuation at the time of booking. In this case, a reverse request for the charge on your credit card will be sent by us after one day to the bank. Please be assured that if the ticket has not been successfully booked, your card payment will be reversed within 1 week.

7 The refund has still not been credited in my credit card account

As per our policy, we send a reverse request to the bank by the next day. Depending bank that issued the card , it can sometimes take up to one week for the reversal to take effect.

8 Can I book my tickets without my credit card since I don’t want to disclose my credit card details?

No, Currently, e-ticketing System only offers credit card bookings for Visa, Master card, and net banking for Billdesk and the site is completely secure.

9 How many tickets can book per transaction?

A customer is allowed to book a maximum of 9 tickets per transaction.

10 How to book your movie tickets online?

There is 2 options (Quick booking / Book Now) are available for booking tickets. Via quick booking you can select movie, theatre, date, show time and number of tickets in home page. Also you can read the terms and conditions of internet booking. Then you can select the seats. While selecting one seat consecutive seats are automatically select incase of multiple seats booking. If you want to change the seat position, click on already selected seat first and then click on desired position for select another seat. You can also change the count of tickets in the same screen

11 Can I cancel / modify my ticket which collected by an online activity?

Unfortunately, this feature is unavailable for online events.

12 How and where can I check the booking status?

After completing the online transaction, please do check if you have received any confirmation SMS or Emails. If you have received, then you can use the tickets. But if you haven’t received any such messages, go to the Booking status page on our site and check whether your booking details are reflecting on the same. Here you can find all the transactions made using the same mobile number.

13 What should I do if I haven’t received the confirmed tickets through SMS or Emails?

Due to technical issues, you may not receive any SMS or Emails of the confirmed tickets. It happens on rare occasions, and we deeply regret it. However, in such situations, it is completely your responsibility to visit the Booking Status Page and check whether your booking confirmation is reflecting on the page. 14 When does advance booking open?

The advance booking facility is directly controlled by the Theatre. Whenever the Theatre opens the show for advance booking, the show is automatically made available 24 hours on e-ticketing system. Advance booking will be allowed for a maximum of 3 days (Theatre manager can change the advance booking days)

15 When does advance booking open?

No. It is not possible to change the seat numbers of a ticket once it is booked.

16 Can I change the show time that I have booked for?

No. It is not possible to change the show time once a ticket has been confirmed.

17 Can I choose my seat at the Theatre while booking?

Yes, this is one of the most important feature. You have the choice of selecting or changing your seats at every step of the transaction subject to availability.

18 I accidentally booked my tickets for today instead of tomorrow, can you change the tickets?

No. It is not possible to replace or refund tickets once they have been confirmed.

19 Can we cancel or replace our tickets?

No. As per our policy, once a ticket has been paid for, it is deemed sold. It cannot now be replaced or cancelled.

20 How long does it take to book the tickets after I register myself on the website?

Register with email id and personal details. This is one time process and you can starting booking from the very next time.

21 What are the benefits of registering on the site?

By registering, you get access to your booking history information. You will also get the option to get some handsome offers in the future.

22 I have booked tickets with my ID proof for my family/friends. But I cannot attend the show personally?

This is a rare case but you have an option,You have to go to the theatre prior to the show with your ID proof, Ticket and the ID proof of one of the members of your group, to the manager to get his conformation, with this conformation and new ID proof your group can attend the show. This will be at the entire discretion of the manager.

23 Will my tickets be delivered after my booking is done?

Yes. You can view the Confirmed ticket on the screen and take a printout of that. If you have no access to a printer you can take the printout any time. Other wise you can collect your ticket from theatre

24 Do I need to carry my credit card when I collect my tickets?

No. It is not necessary to carry the credit card used for booking when you pick up the tickets from the theatre. But it is necessary to carry any of the ID proof. This is for your own safety to ensure that the person booking the ticket is the bonafide owner of the ID proof.

25 I am trying to book my tickets, but the drop down list is not working. What should I do ?

Please try refreshing the page once and clear your browser cache. If you still face problems, please call us on 0471-2773160 and we will look into it immediately

26 What browser works best with e-ticketing Window ?

We currently support Mozilla Firefox , Google Chrome, Microsoft Egde, Opera, Safari on the process of adding support for other browsers as well.

27 Why is the speed of this website so slow?

We have optimized the website to offer the best user experience, please check your connection with your Internet Service Provider.

28 What do I do if my booking is not completed?

If your booking process fails during a payment process, we will notify you if any erroneous charges have been incurred. And reverse any amount charged within one week.

29 How to login/Register with us?

Are you a new user? No worries! All you have to do is, Click ‘Signin’ option on the homepage, and fill up Name, Mobile No, and other required details. After submitting it, you will be receiving a confirmation message on-screen, along with a mail on your registered email ID. Now, you can just log in using the given email ID and password and book movie tickets in a hassle-free way.

30 Is it necessary to register for booking tickets?

Although registration is not compulsory, we would suggest you to register on our website, since it would help you to view your entire booking history and avail the exciting offers. If you are not registering the site you have the facility for booking as a Guest user. In these mode you should give your valid email id and mobile no for getting confirmation via mail and SMS for booking details. Any mistake in entering details of email id or mobile number, it is liable only for the user/ customer.

31 Why am I being asked for my Mobile number?

Well, the simplest reason being that it is for the security of your transaction and also so that the booking confirmation can be sent to you via SMS.

32 What are the benefits of registering on the site?

By registering, you can access to your booking history on the site. You can also get information on special offers.

33 I have forgotten my password, how do I proceed?

On the keralafilms.gov.in home page, click on the sign in and select on the Forgot Password link, and the give your registered mail id in the textbox and click on send password reset link. Password reset link will be emailed to you on the email address registered with us.

Procedure to book tickets through "keralafilms.gov.in"

01 Log on to keralafilms.gov.in

02 Register yourself (We Recommend!) Sign in -> create an account -> give details as Name, email Id,Moblie No, Password etc.

03 Login with username and password.

04 Select movie, theatre, date & time.

05 Select the seating category/class (eg. platinum/gold etc) and the number of seats.

06 Choose Seats as per your preference.

07 Click on Book My Seats

08 Crosscheck your show details and the amount payable in the Order Summary.

09 Click on Proceed to Payment to go ahead with your booking.
